DB2 Content Manager Version 8.2 Fixpack 8

  1. DB2 Content Manager Version 8.2 Fixpack 8

    Hi Guys,

I am in the process of performing an upgrade from version 8.2 to 8.3 of Content Manager - During the install I have received an error message stating that Fixpack 8 for DB2 Content Manager Version 8.2 must be installed.

All documentation I have read states this is a requirement for the upgrade although I have been looking everywhere for this fix pack and can't find anything other than those above level 8 (all of which need fix pack 8 to be installed), and fix packs 1-14 for version 8.1 (located at http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview...id=swg21256059)

I am completely lost with the versioning of DB2 fix packs which seems to suggest that 8.1 and 8.2 are the same thing. After recommendations from those in the know I tried downloading fix pack 8a for version 8.1 but as expected this is not the right one.

Could somebody please point me in the direction of a download for Fixpack 8 of DB2 for Content Manager v8.2?

i'm actually still working on it,
all the information i have got is
    1) i should have 8.2 fp 8 installed
    2) have the pre-requisites for 8.3
    - DB2 8.2 base installed - for both LIBRARY & RESOURCE MANAGER
    - WAS 5.1.1 (was 5.1 + fp 1)
    - JDK 1.4.2
    2- install v8.3
    3- Apply fp 3A for v8.3
    4- apply fp11
    5- install v8.4.2
