Kernel Parameters for DB2 V9 on Red Hat Linux 4 U5

  1. Kernel Parameters for DB2 V9 on Red Hat Linux 4 U5

I have installed DB2 V9 on RedHat Linux 4.0 U5 System. I installed it using post installation scripts of RedHat kickstart file. Then using same post installation scripts I tried to execute sql scripts against the database. But the connection get failed stating "can not create shared memory".
When try to install DB2 stand alone ( without using kickstart post installation scripts) it works. It seems while installing OS kernel parameters are not effected. Can any one help me on this? Do you have correct set of kernel parameters for DB2 V9 ?

What kind of "post installation scripts" are that? If they didn't come with
DB2, I would be wary to apply them. (My guess would be that the scripts
changed some sort of system/kernel configuration that interferes with DB2.)
