Default Problem while checking out from CM Synergy

Hi,

During check out of a project from CM Synergy, not all the files are
checked out in to the work area specified.

The folder which is supposed to contain all the files contains only
the following file
'_ccmwaid.inf'. What could be the cause for the problem ??

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Sharoon

Hi

First, Telelogic have excellent support, normally they respond to
e-mail within 2 -4 working hours. Try them.

You don't mention the Synergy version, and if you use task based
update.

We are on 6.5 and use task based update at my job.

A guess: Is there some work area conflict, so that there are files the
system did not expect to find? Eg. if you have modfied files without
"telling" Synergy. It will thne show up in the "Messages" view after
the failed update.

The system philosophy is, not to delete any of your work without
confirmation, tthus this very conservative update policy. You have to
resolve the conflict(s) ("Sync" in the Java client, forgot the naming
in the classic client), then update again.

Also, don't have work areas for the same project object on multiple PCs.
Make 2 logical project copies (different version names, same properties).
