| I've seen some discussion of this topic but I still can't get my head round it. I've got a Windows 2003 server with UDB V8.2. I'm trying to run some snapshots to gather data on some user testing, so I need to reset the counters. I've tried attaching to the remote instance and database from my machine (ESE V9.1) and issuing the RESET MONITOR for Database database GLOBAL command. I've tried using UPDATE MONITOR SWITCHES using to set all switches off and then back on. But the counters seem to carry on incrementing regardless. I'm getting my figures back using Select * from table ( SNAPSHOT_DATABASE ('database',-2)) as ST ; NB: my previous actions seem to reset the BUFFERPOOL and DATABASE switches, but the counters from the above query are 'Basic' Monitor switch. How can I reset this back to 0? TIA Mark Gillis |
