Conceal password entry - filemaker
This is a discussion on Conceal password entry - filemaker ; FMP9 Advanced, Mac, PC I think I saw this somewhere, can't find it though. When user types password characters into password field I need them to be replaced by asterisks (or other) to conceal them from onlookers. Solutions? Thanks. Grok ...

Unfortunately, this only works in Custom Dialog boxes. It's a checkbox when specifying input fields. Seems an oversight not to put it on other fields too. However, workarounds include specifying a font that is all symbols, or making the text the same color as the field background.
