| I'm running Informix on Linux (Red Hat) OS. The boot sector and Informix Server resided on one disk and the database/dbspaces resides on another. We ran into some issues with the disk with the boot up files, hence we are going to swap it with another; this also means a new install of the Informix Server. I was wondering if there was a way to fake the new informix server to point to the databases/dbspaces that already exist on the other drive without having to import (dbimport) from an export file. Thank you for your help. Girish. |
