upgrade the front-end catalogs - Ingres Database
This is a discussion on upgrade the front-end catalogs - Ingres Database ; Please, i am moving from Ingres II 2.6 (SP5) do AIX 4.3 to o AIX 5.3. SP5 64 bits. Is it necessary adopt upgrade the front-end catalogs using: upgradefe dbname INGRES? Cheers....

On the other hand, running upgradefe unnecessarily should just be a no-op and shouldn't hurt anything. Karl |

From Source: I will do an Unload From target: i will install a fresh Ingres install and load all data from source. Using this method, i think it is not necessary upgrade the catalogs, is it?
