Default Outlook Connector for Lotus Domio problem

I had Outlook connector for lotus working on my Outlook 2003 for a
while without a problem. Probably after installing pcAnywhere, I can
no longer use outlook as it comes up with this message and exits:
"Outlook Connector for Domino can't be started. Verify that the Lotus
Notes client is installed and properly configured, log off and log on
to your computer or domain, and then start Outlook Connector for
Domino again"

I get the same message when Windows starts as well and I've tried
almost everything to make it work. (uninstalling and installing it
again used to fix it everytime when Outlook was called at the end of
installation but not anymore for no specific reason).

My Notes works fine without a problem. I tried uninstalling and
installing Outlook and it didn't help either. Now I cannot even use
Outlook on its own!

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Khash

Regarding accessing Outlook, I had the same problem after messing up my
settings whilst trying to get the connector for Lotus Notes running. If
you go into the control panel, there should be an icon named Mail. If you
double-click this icon you have 3 choices, the last one is Show
Profiles... Once you get in here you can remove your Outlook profile (its
biggered anyway) and create a new one. At least you'll be able to get back
into Outlook and hopefully you will have another copy of all your
contacts/calendar appointments.

I got the same problem after installing Oracle - it turned out that
Oracle had pushed so much onto the start of my PATH environment
variable that the Lotus Notes directory had disappeared off the end of
the allowed 1024 characters. The PATH needs to be correct so that the
Java API used by the connector works properly.

Try going to Control Panel, System, Environment Variables, and adding
the directory containing notes.exe (and more importantly, all of the
DLLs) back into the system PATH environment variable.

Cheers,

Craig
