Lotus notes authentication API

Hi,

I want to integrate lotus notes for SSO functionality with one of my
in house product.
Trying to find some API (Java, C or any other tech based) to provide
Authentication (User, password retrieval etc)

Could you help me some link/tutorial on the API. I tried to find the
stuff over the net, but may be could not hit the right link
