| Immediate assistance is needed I have MSSQL 2000 I have made a merge replication, and this has gone pretty successful. But something has happened to my database. Some of the databases on the server is marked "Suspect", and I can't find anything in the help to advice me what to do One of the databases are "Distributor", this is also marked as "suspect" I I try to go to the Replication pane("configure distributor, publisher and subscriber"), I get following error:¨ Error 21769: [SQL-DMO]The passed ordinal is out of range of the specified collection ??????????????????????????? I have one database that is a part of the merge replication ("Hands below") I can't delete it. It pops up with following: Error 3724 Cannot drop the database " replication The content of the databases that are involved are not important, but it's completely impossible to delete the database, and disable the replication status What can I do Best regards Anders |

Unfortunalely not Any attempt to delete the publication fails. It pops up with following error: Error 945: Database distribution cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space. See the SQL server errorlog for details. I do not know where to fin the errorlog from Enterprice manager Any help is highly appreciated Anders "Ekrem Önsoy" wrote: > Maybe this helps: > http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms152757.aspx > > -- > Ekrem Önsoy > > > "Anders" > news:EA29F967-0127-40AD-8DF9-392CB2284DD0@microsoft.com... > > Dear All > > Immediate assistance is needed > > I have MSSQL 2000 > > I have made a merge replication, and this has gone pretty successful. > > But something has happened to my database. > > Some of the databases on the server is marked "Suspect", and I can't find > > anything in the help to advice me what to do > > One of the databases are "Distributor", this is also marked as "suspect" > > I I try to go to the Replication pane("configure distributor, publisher > > and > > subscriber"), I get following error:¨ > > Error 21769: [SQL-DMO]The passed ordinal is out of range of the specified > > collection > > ??????????????????????????? > > I have one database that is a part of the merge replication ("Hands > > below") > > I can't delete it. The alert is cancelled For some reason - and do not ask me why - after restarting the computer, no database were any longer marked "Corrupt", and especially not the "distribution" database. Then I could delete the publications and start all over again. But thanks anyway Anders "Anders" wrote: > Unfortunalely not > Any attempt to delete the publication fails. > > It pops up with following error: > > Error 945: Database distribution cannot be opened due to inaccessible files > or insufficient memory or disk space.
