Red Hat Oracle 10g R2 Installation Issues

[Database Administrator]

We have an oracle installation that has the sticky bit set on a number
of sub directories in the oracle home. Does anyone know how these would
have been set oracle if there are likely to cause a problem? This is a
10g R2 installation.

Any help would be much appreciated.

On my installation all directories in $ORACLE_HOME except bin and log have
drwxr-x---
the mentioned two have
drwxr-xr-x bin
drwxr-xr-t log
