There is nothing that equals Reports, qua features and performance. The
so-called "alternatives" may look easier to start with, but contain so
much hidden limits and requirements, that someone used to reports, will
soon regret switching.

You could as well try replacing Forms.

Last time I checked, "Forms and Reports Services" existed as a product
for those customers that do not need the overkill of AS (All things that
otherwise would not Sell).

Easy to install, or easy to develop, is quite another matter. You need
some brains to get it running and to use it, but the investment pays.

It does, but is still licensed as AS EE.
