Bad advice. When you come across some Unix other than Linux, you will be
unpleasantly surprised to find out that /bin/sh is not Bash.

Diana, start learning from some standard, compatible shell like sh.

Through cross cultural interactions... basically Europe had more advanced weapons and other technology than most other places. so they could go to almost anywhere, show off trier fancy goods and then set up fortified trading posts.
This usually gave then raw materials (lumber, wool, the basics) which they would then turn those materials into finished products and go back to trade more....
