Following a system reboot, I saw the following message: "WARNING: No randomness provider enabled for /dev/random. Use cryptoadm (1M) to enable a provider." I got the following results from running cryptoadm list: # cryptoadm list User-level providers: Provider: /usr/lib/security/$ISA/pkcs11_kernel.so Provider: /usr/lib/security/$ISA/pkcs11_softtoken.so Kernel software providers: des aes arcfour blowfish ecc sha1 sha2 md4 md5 rsa swrand Kernel hardware providers: What magic incantation do I chant now? I have /dev/random and /dev/urandom. Is that not enough? If I need to provide a crypto provider: which is the right one? /dev/random is a link to /dev/devices/pseudo/random@0:random /dev/urandom is a link to /dev/devices/pseudo/random@0:urandom Thanks. |
