Default "An error occurred when instantiating a metadata object from the file" when restoring a backup
I've been receiving the following error when restoring every one of my
SSAS2005 databases from a backup.

"Errors in the metadata manager. An error occurred when instantiating a
metadata object from the file"


All the dimensions are processing fine, querying is well. I've taken
multiple backups and still receive this error with every single database I
have. They're not all corrupted.

Any idea what's going on?

Hey,
Did you find any solution to your problem?

I had the same problem but when I backuped a OLAP cube.
