We are experiencing the same problem after Office 2003 SP3 was installed. Workarounds: A workaround is to use the Pivot Table view in Office Web Components. But is obviously not a solution if the user must work in Excel. Uninstall Office and re-install it up to SP2 and don't install SP3 again until there is a solution. We are hoping MS will come up with a solution SOON. We are having same issues and cannot believe that Microsoft has not released any patch so far to fix this issue. We have several remote users and unistall - reinstall the whole Office application is very anoying. Thanks for your comments, hopefully, we can have a solution soon Microsoft! HI Alex, You don't need to uninstall Office 2003. Replace the Excel.exe file in Excel 2003 SP3 with the Excel.exe from Excel 2003 SP2. Simply overwriting the executable will change Excel from SP3 to SP2. The other Office programs will remain at SP3. I have tried this and it works. Microsoft tech support have told me it will take 1 to 2 months to solve the issue. H |
