Check the quantum duration for the Generator and for the Distributor. If
the Generator has a QuantumDuration of 5 minutes and the Distributor has
a QuantumDuration of 10 minutes....of course it could be a while before
your start seeing notifications.

Some questions....
- I'm guessing you are talking about event driven subscriptions rather
than scheduled?
- Are the events sitting in the event table when you restart or are you
talking about new events?
- How long has the sqlns been off before restarting?
- Have you checked PerfMon or the views?

I have the Quantum duratin set for 10 secs for both the generator and
distributor. The notification are event driven, they sit there go
through the process of firing the notification notify procedure but
then just sit there with no status change, maybe for like 30 minutes?
