Default where to discuss some database design issues (not sybase-specific)

I am thinking about how to design a database that can cope with
logging web usage statistics. For various reasons, google analytics
cannot be used. I am wondering whereabouts on USENET to post. The db
is not to be vendor-specific so there is nothing particular about
sybase to discuss. Indeed, my prototype may be postgres. If it goes
anywhere it will probably be finally deployed to sybase though.

You may try comp.databases, but DB design over usenet is usually
difficult.
