That stupid twit tried in vain to post the same bull**** -- Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off. |

Look at this list of Linux distributions! http://distrowatch.com/ At least 100 hundred! If these idiots got together and create just one Linux distribution, Microsoft would be out of business in a second! |

Right. Nothing. You had no point from the beginning, so you start to include random idiocy, Hadron Quark > > Look at this list of Linux distributions! > > http://distrowatch.com/ > > At least 100 hundred! > Fine. Isn't choice great? Seems you are mentally unfit to handle it, though. > If these idiots got together and create just one Linux distribution, > Microsoft would be out of business in a second! Certainly. That would be the moment you grow your very first braincell, too -- Microsoft: The company that made email dangerous And web browsing. And viewing pictures. And... |

A possible conspiracy: MICROSOFT secretly funding all the LINUX distributions? somebody wrote: > Peter Köhlmann wrote: >> somebody wrote: >> >>> I think if there was only one Linux distribution, Microsoft would be out >>> of business in a second. >> >> Idiot >> >> You don't call yourself "Hadron Quark" sometimes? >> That stupid twit tried in vain to post the same bull**** > > > How many shares of Microsoft stock do you own? > > > > Look at this list of Linux distributions! > > http://distrowatch.com/ > > At least 100 hundred! > > If these idiots got together and create just one Linux distribution, > Microsoft would be out of business in a second! |

For example, you have Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu, and Ubuntu CE - distrowatch counts each one of these as a different distribution. Any teenage 'wizard' can make his own distro fairly easily. |

Microsoft Windows comes in only one "distribution". Different versions (95, 98, ME, XP, and Vista) but still single "distribution". However, for a conspiratorial reason, Linux comes in more than one hundred distributions! So thousands of software engineers and programmers are wasting their efforts by duplicating their work. If they would just get together and collaborate, they would be able to create a single unified Linux and comprehensive line of wonderful applications that will put Microsoft out of business. There is a saying: Divide and conquer/rule. somebody wrote: > A possible conspiracy: MICROSOFT secretly funding all the LINUX > distributions? > > > somebody wrote: >> Peter Köhlmann wrote: >>> somebody wrote: >>> >>>> I think if there was only one Linux distribution, Microsoft would be >>>> out >>>> of business in a second. >>> >>> Idiot >>> >>> You don't call yourself "Hadron Quark" sometimes? >>> That stupid twit tried in vain to post the same bull**** >> >> >> How many shares of Microsoft stock do you own? >> >> >> >> Look at this list of Linux distributions! >> >> http://distrowatch.com/ >> >> At least 100 hundred! >> >> If these idiots got together and create just one Linux distribution, >> Microsoft would be out of business in a second! |

For an example of a Unix-derived monoculture, look no farther than MacOSX. It has the crummiest user-interface of the big three, as soon as the sweet sting of its sugar-coating wears off. Years ago, it almost got de-funded. It only exists because Microsoft explicitly granted it a fiefdom. -- Phlip http://flea.sourceforge.net/PiglegToo_1.html |
