The Gatherer object in project <SQLServer SQLxxxxxxx>cannot be
Hi Team,
Configuration:
SQL Server 2000 SP4
Clustered - Active / Passive
Windows 2000 SP4
Issue:
Full Text is not working when there is a cluster failover to the
passive node2 from active node1. When the cluster is again switched
back to the original node1, full text search is working properly!
Error Message:
Event ID: 3028
Message: The Gatherer object in project cannot
be initialized. Error:0 - The operation complete successfully
I'm getting this message three times in the even viewer when the
failover happens! There is no info in internet for SQL Full Text
Search for this message but similair issue is posted regarding
Exchange server as there is no registry values corresponding to these
indexes so recreate it... But the concept is different here since it
is a shared disk so FTData is there... Not sure what is the issue. Let
me know if anything can be done!

I have bumped into something similar to this on a cluster. Can you try this
first and then I'll let you know a hack which worked for this media giant I
used to work for.
