create new db in phpmyadmin

  1. create new db in phpmyadmin

    hi,

I have an account at one.com and they have already created a DB for me
    that I can use.

But I want to create a multi-user environment and therefore I would
like several DBs. But when I try to create a new DB I get the
    following error:
    ******
    SQL-forespørgsel:

    CREATE DATABASE newbie

    MySQL returnerede:

#1044 - Access denied for user 'bentzenz_com'@'localhost' to database
    'newbie'
    *********
    any suggestions?

    Thanx.

    Lars at bentzenz dot com

Maybe they only allow you to create one database.

    I use
    http://www.myqiq.info/uk/aff.php?aff=023
on which you can have unlimited mysql databases

Or maybe they have it set up so only they can create databases.

Why do you need multiple databases, anyway? If you're looking at having
multiple users with different privileges, I suspect this won't be
allowed at your host, either. Many shared hosts don't.
