estimate memory usage on linux
does anyone have a document handy (or metalink note bookmarked) on
estimating memory usage on linux and seeing actual memory usage
(primarily sga_max_size + session details).. session details are
always fuzzy.
oracle is 10.2.0.3
linux is rh4
........
We run Oracle 9iR2,10gR2, 10g2RAC on RH4/RH5 and Solaris 10 (Sparc)
We use RMAN and remote catalog for backups
