Determining the disk space used by a schema.

  1. Determining the disk space used by a schema.

    I'd like to find out how much disk space is being used by one schema my
    Oracle 10g database. My schema is sharing a tablespace with other
    schemas, so I can't just check the size of the tablespace.

    It's probably obvious that I'm not an Oracle expert, but I'll be happy
    to provide any other info you may need.

    Thanks for any response, Josh

    Alternatively: DBMS_SPACE.OBJECT_SPACE_USAGE.

    Run this in your schema

    Select sum(bytes)/1024/1024 Mb, tablespace_name
    from user_segments
    group by tablespace_name;
