Error Importing DTS Package - Invalid access to memory location
I have been importing DTS packages for several weeks just fine, but all of
the sudden I get an error when trying to import a DTS package.
TITLE: Import Package
------------------------------
Invalid access to memory location. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800703E6)
(Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
------------------------------
Anyone know how to fix this?
My System:
Windows Server 2003
3.4 GHz, 2GB RAM
SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition

RE: Error Importing DTS Package - Invalid access to memory location
I've tried rebooting the server - that didn't work.
I even reinstalled SQL - that didn't work either.

Re: Error Importing DTS Package - Invalid access to memory location
A very common problem with Windows explorer is reported on all Windows help forums. I've seen people complaining about problem with long path files deletion.
Some common problems with Windows Explorer people talk about:
- Doesn't allow deleting files with long path names
- Pops up error while deleting unwanted files or unnecessary files
- Errors like: Access denied, sharing violation, source in use etc.
I've found a very simple but smart solution for all these above mentioned common problems. A very simple but powerful tool to overcome these problems. Everyone who plays with the files must have this tool. Its compatible with all versions of Microsoft Windows.
