I am getting the "Unexpected error occurred 'Attempted to read or write
protected memory. this is often
an indication that other memory is corrupt.'" when browsing calculations. I
have installed all the hot fixes - and in order. Are you saying that there
is something missing from the hotfix? How does one go about getting this
resolved?

Re: Error: 'Attempted to read or write protected memory' after hotfix
You will probably find that the version of msmdlocal.dll and msmgdsrv.dll
don't match in these two locations:
- \common files\system\ole db
- \Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies
This mismatch is what causes the problem. Installing the hotfixes for both
AS and Tools in the order specified will update both locations and bring
them into sync... If its not working for you then you could try to manually
update both locations to match the latest version but this is unsupported
and usual strong warnings apply :)
Thanks,
Akshai
