problems on installation on suse 10.2

Most likely this is the LD_POINTER_GUARD issue.

Hello Michael!

I am having such problem on Ubuntu Edgy.

I used your guide, (with setting LD_POINTER_GUARD)
in shell under sybase user before install, but installation
had not completed.

I saw responce on another forum concerning this variable.
Some guy wrote that setting it is not working for ASE 12.5
and 15.0 due to the problems of JRE that is packaged
together with ASE. This JRE does not use variables from
shell.

But by his responce setting this var works for install 11.x
versions of ASE.

May be this method will work with JRE from Sun,
but I have not tried yet.
